Other fields

Aside to those we have direct current DC.

Our electricity net has a frequency of 50 Hz, or, 50 puls per second. It is alternating and therefoe we call it alternating current AC.
A light bulb goes 50 times per second on and off. Because our eyes react slowly, it looks as if the bulb gives light contnuously, but that is not so. It is in fact a *stroboscopic* effect.

We also know fields, who do NOT have a frequency; we call them direct current fields.

Electrical direct current fields

When we rub hard on a plastic surface, there will be an electrostatic field; we call that an elektrical direct current field. They arise with plastic surfaces and synthetic fibers on floor carpets, curtains, wallpapers, monitorscreens, Televesion and computers.

Electrostatic fields can be stored inside our body. We become electrostaically charged and decharge ourselve by touching metal things like doorhandles, cardoors, etc.
(Electro alternating fields can also be stored inside our body.)

The present body tension can raise therefeore.

The tension of electrostatically charged surfaces is given in Volt (V). The resulting field strenght of this field in the space, also called air electricity is given inVolt per meter (V/m).
Both must be measured with a special meter. (Feldmuehle principle)

Magnetical direct current fields

Magnetical direct current fields are to be found with metal objects, which have become magnetic, like pipelines under the floor, metal building supporting profiles in buildings, metal parts of a bed, metal springs in mattresses, etc.
Magnetical direct current fields can also exist by deviations from the earth magnetic field, by underground tears, shifts, underground water runnings, etc.
Magnetical direct current fields are measured with so-called Magnetometers. They exist in different makings, and are generally expensive.

3D Scintillation counters are also used; one measures the radioactivity very precise and very narrow. The earth is always radiating radioactivity in very small amounts.
(A byproduct is the Radon gas!)

Magnetical deviations can also be measured with a compass.

Other disturbances sources

Radioactivity (alpha, beta and gamma beams) is also (ionizing) radiation and will be measured in a Building Biology house investigation in uSv/h, microSievert per hour.

A byproduct of radioactivity is Radongas. It origines from the ground and from certain building materials. The unit is Bq/m3, Bequerel per cubic meter.

When we are busy with the air, we also measure the amount of carbonmonoxide (bad functioning stoves) carbondioxide (bad ventilation) and formaldehyde (chipboard). Of course factors like temperature and relative humidity in a house an important role, like the amount of positive and negative air-ions.

Not only the house, but also the inhabitants will be measured.
On body tension (DC), vitality (Egely) and load (Flimmertest)

And one can look after certain fungi.
